Idk. Something’s just off about it. It almost looks like a Netflix movie.

Looks great. It could be the most fun of the Disney SW movies.

It looked a bit weird the first time I watched it, but I just watched it again and I like it. It looks better than I expected it to be and I also like the tone of the trailer. I also heard that the eventual script is still pretty much the same as Phil Lord's and Chris Miller's original script so that's good news, I guess. I really can't make any predictions about how good this will be. It could be very mediocre and forgettable, but it could also turn out to be a very fun adventure movie. For some reason the feel of the trailer reminds me more of Indiana Jones without Harrison Ford than Star Wars without Harrison Ford (besides the space setting of course). I also want to say that I love the design of the rotating train. I'm still not a fan of the music that plays when we see the Solo logo.

Looks fun! The cinematography is a little bit dark for my taste, but very gorgeous in places. Finally, a film where we see a hover-train action sequence.
The tone seems adequate so far, fun but still taking itself seriously, I hope we do not lapse into Last Jedi/Marvel territory. Only lame, unfitting word was "Baby" IMO. I also get used to the new Han look. They should avoid the Star Wars and Force theme like the plague really, hope Williams new Han theme is memorable.
Let's see, the trailers have been least of Disney-SW's problem so far...

. I'm still not a fan of the music that plays when we see the Solo logo. these variations of the Star Wars theme (and the Force theme) will likely not be used in the actual score. The former is Luke's theme and Han has not much affiliation with the force anyway. Williams writes a new motive for Han, and there will be a new score.

Howard is a fine director but not a wizard, more a craftsman, he cannot turn a turd into gold. If Solo is good we have the weird situation that the saga sequel films are derivative and stale, while the anthology films are more creative and fresh.

I won't pay to see it in theaters, but the new trailer does tickle my fancy a little. It definitely could be fun, similar to seeing Vader in R1, to see Chewie be a badass and see his relationship with Han develop...IF they actually wrote some organic chemistry(unlike the ST characters).

The train fight looks cool, but again, they didn't need to show that last bit. We know Chewie lives.

With the huge extensive reshoots, the budget for this movie may have ballooned to a quarter billion dollars or more, and a movie needs 2.5 times its budget to break even

The music is a copy of Led Zeppelins Good Times Bad Times(1969), hope they're getting royalties

Honestly I would be fine with that. I liked the idea of one off Star Wars films anyway.
