I honestly think it's worse than Ang Lee's Hulk.

I paid to see it in theaters. I can't promise I'll watch it again even as a rental.

I thought you saw the director's cut for some reason. Nope. Only saw it once. How is it by the way? Any real difference? You get more Clark, and more of Lex's plan, not Lex.....but his plan, it's a bit more organized, scenes breathe more, and the opening Africa sequence is expanded. I still have issues with act 3, but the film prior to that is improved, it feels more like Clark and Bruce's worlds are sharing equal time, rather than solely being brought into Bruce's. If you took issue with character iterations......this probably won't help.....well....maybe Clark a bit, but if your issue was with story and editing this will help. I'll say this, I gave the theatrical cut a 7.3, but that dropped over time to like a 6, after the director's cut it's fairly planted at a 7.5, granted I like MoS sooooo....there's that. And it is a director's cut, not an extended cut, but a legitimate director's cut. If you're curious you can find a digital code online for like 2 bucks, or go on youtube, some guy uploaded the entire director's cut.

I rented it for my dad and we didn't make it half way through before I got bored and saw he was playing candy crush on his phone. So didn't make it through a second viewing.

I hear the extended cut is bad,SS has a worst extended cut I hear. it's bad? I mean most who've seen the bvs director's cut say it's better, and yes it's a director's cut. now if you hate bvs then yeah......it's bad, but if you see some potential then you may enjoy the ultimate cut more. the ss extended cut, is just that, an extended cut, not meant to improve the film on any actual level, it simply has more scenes. like ben Affleck's "The Town" extended cut, maybe some nice scenes tossed in for lateral movement, but nothing that actually improves the story.

I fell asleep just before the climactic fight. I'm surprised I managed to stay awake for that long! No way after that was I going to bother with the extended cut. No matter what people say, a few added scenes cannot fix the pathetic mess that is BvS. (and this is coming from a hug DC fan, FYI)

ah, they're okay (imo). there's a bike chase, which starts surprisingly very promising but the dialogue falls flat. the second one is Harley messing with squad which is actually okay, but again the dialogue isn't amazing. it doesn't add anything, but also doesn't really detract.

Not for BVS, but Suicide Squad almost put me to sleep. That and Antman I would not watch again even if you pay me
