Not really to do with the MCU and probably better suited to the Video Game board but that's pretty quiet.
I'm sure most of you by now know about the Spider-man game by Insomniac that's coming out exclusively for the PS4.
Well now there's more information out for it mainly that it comes out in September. It looks and sounds great from what I'm watching on this Game informer video right now.
Apparently there's parties on rooftops you can crash in on, take selfies with people on the street, play basketball, there's different costumes and multiple villains.
I'm excited for this one, they haven't really had a good Spider-man game since the PS2 days. Anyone getting it?

Probably. I usually watch a few reviews before buying though.
But I LOVED that Spiderman 2 game on PS2!

By the way would it be okay if we post more Marvel related video games? I know that this site has a video game section, but like you said it's not as active.

I will definitly be getting it. What else do you play on ps4 scabab? I play all sorts, I just finished Assassins Creed Origins, now I'm trying to finish up a Kingdom Hearts game and then this month I'm hoping to get the new God of War and Yakuza 6. Generally I prefer single player games, I ain't all too bothered with online anymore but I'll play the odd Call of Duty that comes out each year. I am! I really hope that it ends up being at least decent. It's been a long time since we have had a good Spider-Man game. By the way would it be okay if we post more Marvel related video games? I know that this site has a video game section, but like you said it's not as active. Sure it wouldn't hurt. It'd be nice to have a few more positive threads around here. I'm surprised that after all this time there hasn't been more Marvel games really. You'd think there would have been an Avengers game somewhere. Apparently Disney gave Marvel the Okay to let different Game studios to develop games based on the Marvel property. So hopefully this will be a start on more Marvel Video Games! |

I didn't know about the Avengers game but Square Enix is a top developer so that would be interesting to see. Most superhero games haven't been that good usually just being lazy cash ins but between the Batman Arkham series and this new Spider-man I'd hope it would encourage developers to make higher quality games. Iron Man would make for a great video game if done right. |

It looks good, but if I'm not mistaken the sequel to Red Dead Redemption comes out only a month after this.
I'm not much of a video game player anymore, so I'm probably going to end up picking one or the other. And there's no way I get this over Red Dead 2.

its keeping people curios. marvel has terrible games today, this spiderman is made by sony so we can have a marvel game as good as injustice.

Marvel haven't been bringing out many games as it is on consoles lately and they haven't been very good, The Amazing Spider-man 2 was a disappointment as was Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. The Lego games have been the best ones they've had and they're just half decent kids games. Injustice 2 has far better reviews. |
