...and he will always be the real Peter Parker/Spider-Man to me.
Sure his Spider-Man wasn't perfect, but his Spidey is most certainly miles above Andrew Garfield's and Tom Holland's. They are just wannabees to me and were far too young for the role for me. Spidey should be a MAN, not a teenager, IMO.
And Spider-Man 2 (2004) is still the best superhero film ever made to date, IMO.

I agree and disagree in ways. Toby Maguire was the most likable Peter Parker of the lot so far. He was the best Peter Parker but probably the worst Spider-man.
Andrew Garfield being the opposite, the worst Peter Parker but the best Spider-man. Then Tom Holland is in the middle for both roles.
So they all kind of balance out but I'd still probably give the nudge to Maguire seeing as Peter Parker has the majority of the screentime.
I don't mind Tom Holland being so young because he was like 15 when he first became Spider-man and it means he'll be able to a good amount of movies before he gets too old.
I wouldn't say Spider-man 2 is the best Superhero movie ever but it's easily the best Spider-man movie with quite possibly the best action sequences in a Superhero movie.

Tobey was a great Peter Parker especially at capturing the nerdy, social outcast side of the character. His struggles with finding work and keeping up in college hold more weight than the problems Tom Holland's Spider-Man has in Homecoming. Spider-Man is known his wisecracks, and while Tobey's Spider-Man had a few quips here and there, there weren't that many. Nevertheless, his Spider-Man does that "friendly neighborhood" persona that's essential for the character.
Andrew's Spider-Man does better in the humor department even though some of the jokes felt forced from what I last remember. I never cared much for his portrayal as Peter Parker.
Tom Holland does kind of have the best of both worlds. He's young enough to pass for a high school student. The familiar traits of Peter Parker's intelligence and social awkwardness are there, and he doesn't socialize as much because he's always crime-fighting.

Spider-Man 2 is not only the best Spider-Man movie ever but also the best superhero movie featuring a Marvel comics character ever. I would rank Spider-Man 2 among my top 6 superhero movies ever. And yes, Tobey Maguire was much better than Andrew Garfield and that terrible Tom Holland.

None of them were accurate to the comics character. Maguire was too mopey as Peter Parker (though I think he got most interesting in SM 3 when he becomes an asshole). But as Spider-man his voice was decent enough.
The Ditko Spider-man was someone closer to Robert Walker Jr (Charlie X from Star Trek).
Nicholas Hammond was an acceptable match for the Romita era in looks, but I'd have to revisit it to confirm. His costume was bizarre but his voice was alright.
Tom Holland is WAY too young sounding.

I never cared much for his portrayal as Peter Parker. That's part of what makes his Spidey the best in my opinion. His Spidey didn't contantly make dumb one-liners every five seconds and only joked occasionally when he really needed to. And in doing so, this made Tobey's Spidey feel much more heroic and relatable than either Garfield or Holland put together. Besides, Spidey's humor isn't the most important part of his character at all, at least not to me. And his Peter Parker/Spider-Man is the most accurate to the 60's version of the character, except with Sam Raimi's more modern twist thrown in. And like you said with the part in bold, Tobey Maguire did a great job of getting down that "friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!" persona down that the next two actors lacked so much and that's why I loved his portrayal.

I thought Andrew was a better Spider-Man than Tobey and Tobey was a better Peter Parker than Andrew.

The best Peter Parker/Spiderman iterarion is still the 90s Animated series one. But Maguire did capture the struggles of leading a dual life better than Holland or Garfield.

Especially with Doc Ock. Please MJ is as annoying at ever, and what she did to John was disgusting.
Nah, he was good for his time but that's it.
Holland is probably going to end up the best, once he's been around longer.

Homecoming is the worst Spidey film, michael keaton is the best part Agreed. SMH is the worst movie adaptation of Spider-Man ever. If you hate the idea of Spidey co-existing with other heroes and developing as a character instead of always staying static.
