Someone should make this into a poll so we can vote on the hottest woman to ever appear in a DC movie.

I think I mentioned this earlier in this thread, but I’m watching Night at the Museum 2 for the first time since it came out. It’s far from a good movie, but Amy Adams wonderfully transcends the material (not to mention she’s gorgeous in it). Her performance is so lively, so exciting, so well-timed… Really it’s a marvel. Who on earth directed her in this, and why didn’t that director make the rest of this movie work? (I mean, Hank Azaria and Christopher Guest are funny too, but they’re still more or less phoning it in.) And why, oh why, couldn’t she give her Lois this characterization? She’s way more Lois-y here than in the entirety of Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Justice League. I’ve liked Miss Adams ever since seeing in a completely unexpectedly good romantic comedy, Leap Year, and watching her here for the first time in a long time, I can absolutely see how she’d be a fantastic Lois. Why couldn’t she have done this? Is it Snyder’s fault? Last line she said: “You haven’t been able to take your cheaters off my chassis since we met.” Yes, OK, I’m getting way too contemplative about this.

One more thing: I was trying to figure out for the life of me what ridiculous accent Hank Azaria was doing. Finally came to me: Boris Karloff! Brilliant choice for the part.
