I am not saying you ARE, butt if you are, could you please let us know the current situation about Heaven and Hell? Thanks in advance. I don’t know much about the LDS, other than their unorthodox beliefs in the Afterlife and they don’t believe in Hell. I did once visited a Jack-Mormon community in Hurricane, AZ. Theses are the polygamous kind. A good TV series about Mormons is Big Love on HBO. Back in the day, the original Jerry Falwell and other Southern Baptists tried to evangelize Utah...didn’t work. But which is worse, hell or "outer darkness"....?

Back before “online,” a Mormon ward was one of the best goto places for genealogical information. Mormons believe whole families will be reunited in Heaven. And since I’ve done the Ancestry DNA thing, I’ve probably been proxy baptized into the LDS Church. Families get to pick their own planet. I have my eye on Ceti Alpha V. Are you dead? If not, you have not been given a proxy Mormon baptism. There is a reason these are called "baptisms for the dead".... and the planet thing.... The Mormons have sort of given up on the notion that you can get to rule over your own planet. I don't think they ever really claimed one could pick one.

No, the question is not based on either a belief that levitation is possible or not possible. The question is about one specific person and whether or not he has ever been able to levitate. The possible answers include one that covers people that think Osteen cannot levitate and the report was a hoax. Whether or not other people that are not Joel Osteen can do is a separate question. How do you figure that? If someone thinks that levitation is not possible, then the answer will automatically be no, Pastor Joel Osteen cannot levitate. No they wouldn't. An answer that Osteen cannot levitate leaves open the possibility that others can do so, even if he cannot.

Believe what you want, as you have proved your bigotry many times. So, not content to completely evade my question, you now stoop to outright slander. Cite ONE of the "many" examples of my so called bigotry that you claim I have shown. (Or withdraw that slander - you still have that option).
She also evaded and ignored your simple yes or no question.

The history of the ownership of Ancestry.com "In October 2012, Ancestry.com agreed to be acquired by a private equity group consisting of Permira Advisers LLP, members of Ancestry.com's management team, including CEO Tim Sullivan and CFO Howard Hochhauser, and Spectrum Equity, for $32 per share or around $1.6 billion.[30] At the same time, Ancestry.com purchased a photo digitization and sharing service called 1000Memories. On July 16, 2015, Ancestry launched AncestryHealth, and announced the appointment of Cathy A. Petti as its Chief Health Officer. In April 2016 GIC Private Limited (a sovereign wealth fund owned by the Government of Singapore) and Silver Lake (a private equity fund manager) bought equity stakes in Ancestry.com.[33] The estimated market value of Ancestry.com in 2017 was more than $3 billion." No equity interest by the Mormon church. Ownership of Ancestry.com

How kind of me, as you are having the last word.
However.......What is a subsidiary of a company? A subsidiary, subsidiary company or daughter company is a company that is owned or controlled by another company, which is called the parent company, parent, or holding company. The subsidiary can be a company, corporation, or limited liability company. In some cases it is a government or state-owned enterprise.
Just a little business info. You are giving me the last word because you probably did a little more research and discovered that I am correct. But then you are not giving me the last word, as you now ramble on about holding companies and subsidiaries, possibly to muddy the waters about what ownership means? The Mormon church is not a parent company holding Ancestry.com as a subsidiary.

I just had an idea for a movie with great potential to become a cult favorite. A handful of people post the dumbest and most inane messages that are totally off-topic for the message board they post upon. They think they are being ever so smart in their attempts to outdo each other, but in actuality to anyone with much intelligence they actually are seen to come off as being in competition for who can be the most stupid. What to call this movie...?

The possible answers include one that covers people that think Osteen cannot levitate and the report was a hoax. Whether or not other people that are not Joel Osteen can do is a separate question. The report says numerous phone videos capturing the incident were uploaded all over the internet at the time. If that was the case why do you think they all seem to have been taken down? I do not know if they ever existed, let alone why they were taken down if they had been posted.

So there.
None of your research verified ownership by the Mormon church, which is not surprising because they do not own it.

Perhaps none of the thousands of people present at the service were reporters? Your question is based on the belief that levitation is possible, and many of the posters here don't believe it. I tried to get Vegas to believe in magic, but he didn't wanna. I voted I don't know, BTW. No, the question is not based on either a belief that levitation is possible or not possible. The long or short answer is ...no. I don't think the Mormon church has any equity interest in Ancestry.com Their genealogy site is FamilySearch.org

Why is this the only article that reports this story? Perhaps none of the thousands of people present at the service were reporters?

"HOUSTON, Tx. – More than 43,000 worshipers were in attendance at Lakewood Church Saturday evening when Joel Osteen, Lakewood’s Senior Pastor, reportedly levitated nearly ten feet above the stage following the conclusion of his sermon. 'People were hysterical,' said Maya Rodriguez, who, like thousands of others in the Houston area, attends weekly services at the nondenominational megachurch." Report of levitation

I have always had a much higher opinion of "Arabesque" than most people, and I hold it in almost as much esteem as "Charade"... they are both delightful gems in my opinion. I think my favorite villain in any movie remains Nejim Beshraavi as played by Alan Badel in this one. I also think Gregory Peck is just fine in his part and has interesting chemistry with Sophia Loren.
I have a book by Stanley Donen where he attempts to basically disown this film completely. He attacks the script as being ridiculous and claims that he played with shooting many scenes as reflections in mirrors and did other atypical shot setups to distract from its shortcomings.
I have had the Italian Blu-ray release of this for several years. It is a good transfer except that it has noticable gate weave in places. Hopefully a new transfer will be done if this has a subsequent release.
Both "Charade" and "Arabesque" have excellent Henry Mancini scores.

I liked it when I saw it in first release, and have not seen it since, but in memory the ending seemed a bit weak compared to the rest of it.

It would seem we have one vote in favor of Pastor Osteen being able to levitate and one likely vote that he cannot levitate. That’s nice. But I did ask you a question. That is a question that I cannot answer, as I do not know. That is why I did not include a vote by myself.... for one possibility or the other.

Did this actually happen or is it a known hoax? The article says the incident was captured by numerous attendees on their smart phones and uploaded on YouTube. I just checked on YouTube and couldn’t find a single video related to the incident. It would seem we have one vote in favor of Pastor Osteen being able to levitate and one likely vote that he cannot levitate.
