This looks intriguing, planet. Do you per chance have a place where I can find it, as you were so kind to provide for me with The Man Who Planted Trees? I've checked the Internet Archive, but apparently I'm not able to navigate that very well.

Three Bites of the Apple 1967, a tax-evasion comedy with casinos in Italy, and David McCallum sings during the opening credits. I don't know much about this movie, but it has an apple in the title and on the poster:

Good Morning spiderwort Tale of Tales has quite a reputation, the winner of numerous International awards, the subject of books, essays and docs. A complete collection of Yuri Norstein's works is available very cheap in the USA, that is where I got mine, through ebay (movie_at_2000) I think this film may be on youtube , however I treasure my collection, watched again last night The Hedgehog in the Fog and a couple of other Russian Folk tales, The Battle of Kerzhenets (1971) This amazing work is set to music by Rimsky-Korsakov uses Russian frescoes and paintings from the 14th–16th centuries....

BATTLE IN OUTER SPACE 1959 --This had some really good spfx for the era and also reminded me of Star Wars on some ways with the space battles. ORGASMO 1969 - Carrol Baker sure was lucky that Italy had opportunities--this kind of role she unlikely would have had in Hollywood. "Welcome home, you tramp" as a note she reads from her perverted house guests explains. What is the connection with apples? Ha what happened is, sometimes when I click reply to a thread--it takes me to another thread. It happens a lot here. I will move it.

Hyppolit a lakáj , Hyppolit, the Butler (1931) Hungary Dir. István Székely This excellent classic Hungarian film is a wonderfully entertaining comedy of manners. It was just the second sound feature film produced in Hungary and is still regarded as one of their best... Mrs. Schneider wishing to raise the status of their humble home employs a butler. Hyppolit turns up a refined gentleman, he had served a count for 27 years. Upon arrival Hyppolit sets about implementing a new regime of etiquette, diet, manner and furnishings into the household, which throws the Schneider's comfortable life upside down. Taking control of all matters Hyppolit prescribes a new slimming diet for Mrs. Schneider... Dismay not another breakfast of an apple !

Legend has it that the pioneering physicist Isaac Newton discovered the law of gravity after being bonked on the head by a falling apple. In “The Story Of Mankind” (1957), Newton is played by Harpo Marx (of course). I couldn’t find a screenshot of the actual bounce off the noggin’ but here is the moment after.

Sedmikrásky , Daisies (1966) Czech. Dir. Věra Chytilová. After realizing that all the world is spoiled, Marie and Marie are committed to be spoiled themselves, so begins a vibrant farce that satirizes bourgeois decadence, Chytilová described her film as "a necrologue about a negative way of life." Early on Marie I and Marie II dance in front of a tree. The tree has many fruits including apples and resembles the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Once Marie I eats from the tree, they both fall and appear next in their apartment...
