This will be my first Guy N. Smith novel. Finally found one by this British horror author at a reasonable price. Many of his books fetch for a pretty penny on Amazon.

I've just started 2 new books: Lost Birds by Anne Hillerman (she's continuing the saga of Leaphorn, Chee & Manuelito started by her Dad , Tony Hillerman), it makes me miss New Mexico, a much better place for me to live than Alabama. I'm also reading The Last Word by Elly Griffiths (she is well known for her Ruth Galloway mysteries).

Aftershock by Robert W. Walker. Standard horror/disaster pulp with tropes galore, but delivers thus far on the simple thrills and over the top gore.

Still on this. Fallen behind on books and have been listening to podcasts.

This is a new special edition of the novelization that was done circa 1979. What's so great about the book is we get the full backstory on how Michael Myers became a vessel of evil, having to do with a curse from ancient Celtic times. I'm very thrilled to be reading this again.

I just finished watching the original "Roswell" TV series so now I'm reading the 10 books by Melinda Metz, they are thin paperbacks published by Pocket Pulse aimed at the teen audience at the time. Its fun seeing the difference between the books and the TV series, I think the TV series is better except for the fact that they changed some of the last names which were Hispanic in the book to more Anglo names, i.e. Liz Parker's name in the TV series was actually Liz Ortecho in the books.

Dracula on Audible, narrated by Alan Cummings, some other people, and supposedly Tim Curry (haven't heard him yet).
Main difference from the movies is it's told entirely in the form of letters and diary entries, because there's nothing spookier than reading a diary. Thr format really kneecaps it, especially the clunky exposition. My favorite moment so far is a letter from a nurse where she basically goes "PS, your husband is severely mentally ill and seeing demons. Probably be careful."
