As long as there are more than 1 major comic book companies (or split studios holding the rights in the case of Marvel) there will never be peace on any board. There will always be rivals. Hell, even if there was 1 major comic book company, then the rivalry will go down to superhero groups and characters. People will always want something to be better than the other. It's a lot like the WWE vs WCW war in the 1990s. WWE was the company that had been around longer and had the tradition. WWE had the biggest stars (e.g. Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Macho Man Randy Savage, etc.) WCW was the upstart company that came along and both companies had a cable show at the same time slot on Monday nights (WWE had Monday Night Raw and WCW had WCW Monday Nitro). For awhile, WCW gained the upper hand. WCW reached a new level of popularity with the NWO. WCW was the 1st to have the company's "boss" (Eric Bishoff) become a heel and WWE would do the same thing with Vince McMahon becoming a heel after WCW did it.
But WCW's success was temporary. In the end, WWE bought out WCW and WCW became defunct.
The DC vs MCU war is similar. DC is like WWE, the older and more established company with the biggest stars (e.g. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman). MCU is the upstart that has come along and created their shared universe and DC would do the same thing with the DCEU.
And just as WCW's success was temporary, MCU's success will most likely be temporary too. In the end, the older and more-established WWE won the war against the upstart WCW and likewise the older and more-established DC will win the war against the upstart MCU.
Then what are you even doing here if that's your position, man? Are you the DCEU's nightwatchman camped out here to preside over the demise of the MCU? It' been going strong for nearly ten years. You got another 10 in you, sarge? If you do that's dedication. Hee hee hee...
