Homecoming was a vast improvement on the previous 3 Sony movies and ranks right up there with the first 2 No, Homecoming is the worst Spider-Man movie adaptation ever! Aside from the fact that Homecoming wasn't even a Spider-Man movie but an Iron Man movie with Spider-Man as a supporting character, you talk about Fox ruining Cyclops, Storm, Colossus, Rogue, Ice Man, Angel, Deadpool, Phoenix, MCU COMPLETELY RUINED MARVEL'S FLAGSHIP CHARACTER SPIDER-MAN BY NAKING HIM NOT CARE ABOUTBEING A SUPERHERO BECAUSE HE HAS A "GREAT RESPONSIBILTY" TO USE HIS GREAT POWERS WISELY (AS UNCLE BEN TAUGHT HIM) BUT ONLY TO CARE ABOUT BEING A SHOW-OFF AND ABOUT "WHEN IS HAPPY HOGAN GOING TO CALL ME BACK?" AND "I HOPE TONY STARK IS IMPRESSED WITH WHAT I'M DOING".Like I said, Homecoming is the worst Spider-Man movie adaptation ever!Well obviously I'm talking about the majority opinion of Homecoming. I don't really count the outlier opinions of people with a known agenda. I have no idea if that is your real opinion or just one that conveniently supports your overall anti-Marvel agenda. Whether you like it or not, Homecoming is considered a big comeback for the character of Spider-Man and a vast improvement over the last 3 Sony efforts. There is considerable support for Holland being the best version of Parker as well. (Marvel casting choices usually hit a home run) So there is no logical support for the idea that Marvel fans were not justified in complaining about SM3, TASM, and TASM2. It certainly wasn't just Marvel fans taking a dim view of those movies.
