Why won't the Avengers help the "irrelevant" people?

Avengers had been taking down Hydra bases trying to put an end to them and get back as much stolen tech they could between Winter Soldier & Ultron, ie they took down countless fortified and highly dangerous locations filled with enemy combatants who had super her tech weapons, they did this so not to risk military men and women's lives, after Ultron the new team began taking down other threats such as stopping terrorist and mercs like Crossbones stealing a multitude of deadly weapons such as nuclear or biological weapons, still means the Chitauri invasion is a major W in the win column for them btw. 

Vision is what Ultron was meant to be before the mind stone usurped and/or corrupted the Ultron prototype, this was also not done willy nilly but Stark being manipulated by Wanda using her mind powers on him, Tony & Bruce even say they weren't close to getting Ultron to work, Bruce assumes fault but it's like saying if I leave a window open that it is explicitly my fault a serial killer snuck in through it and killed people, if I'm unaware theres a serial killer operating in the area how am I to know, I may feel responsible but that doesn't actually make me responsible, Tony did the equivalent he opened a window for Ultron to sneak in but that's because he had no idea Ultron was waiting for that chance.

Superman however knows he's an alien and he dicks about on a space ship without thinking what may happen if his people find him on this world that grants him and his kind godlike power, sure he didn't know things would happen as they did but his is far more likely to assume than Tony's is, also Ultron is as pre-existing & independent as Zod is, or did you miss the part where the mind stone has an "AI" which is far more advanced than even Jarvis which is where Tony gets the notion of trying to reverse engineer it for the Iron Legion protocol? neither Tony or Clark knew their actions would result in violent psycho's trying to end human life as we know it, but both inadvertently caused it then purposefully put a stop to it.

Also you ignored the part where Thor saved the universe from a threat he did not create, or Cap stopped Hydra from crushing freedom under their boots  by way of a threat he played no part in creating, and you ignore the part where the Avengers know greater threats are out in the universe and so are preparing for the day they need to defend the planet again, the oh it's been 8 years is idiotic whining seeing how there has been 70 years since the last world war, countries like Britain & America haven't had to defend their territories in just as long yet they along with almost every other nation on the planet maintain armies to fight and defend their countries should the need arise, the Avengers know the threats could come so they are readying themselves for that day but hoping it will never come.

Also in SMH didn't Iron Man save that entire boat full of people, hardly a global threat similar to how he saved the plane full of people after the president got nabbed, as someone else pointed out Tony doesn't patrol for perps to nab or victims to save but should he know about a danger or crisis he himself is uniquely equipped to handle then he does, so he in fact does help the "irrelevant" and before you make yourself look even more retarded than you normally do and say it yet again NO, no one pays the Avengers for saving them, because I'm sick of you stating this idiotic bullshit...you utter pillock.
