No he pays them to live. They have no other job, but to be Avengers. If Superman wasn't Clark Kent how would he get paid to live? Oh yeah, Bruce Wayne would pay for him to live in the Watchtower or Hall of Justice. That stuff ain't free. And are you saying that police aren't being police out of the goodness of their heart? Firefighters are putting out fires because it's the right thing to do? What about doctors? They have the gall to charge people for medical care? They should be doing that for free!!! They have the skills to save people, why are they getting paid?

Of course it's room and board. They live at the Avengers base as show in Civil War. And I see you are going full retard. Do you report your salary when you do your taxes?
