Amrita university seems to have inherited the shady folk who follow the great saint. You might be able to get a decent salary from them, especially since they might want to flaunt your IIT education to prospective students and their parents but you might have to pretend to be sanskari.
otoh, being an RA in a bigger govt. college might be more satisfying.
