Except that them eating or shitting doesn't tell us anything about who they are as characters, and would thus be a waste of screen time (other than as a quick joke at the end of Avengers), whereas saving lives is what they are all about.. since they're, you know, super HEROES. Your analogy isn't well thought out. Do you really need me to explain it to you or would you rather have another think about it first? Between the two of us you're the one needs the second think.
