So, the TCM guy labeled the marathon "70s Future Shock." It was nice seeing sci fi movies without jarring CGI fakery or trendy tinted blue or green color timing, just natural color, and real sets and surroundings. Imagine that!
I quite enjoyed "The Omega Man" particularly for 3 unexpected twists. "Logan's Run" was always a great premise and I dare say due for the remake I'm picturing in my head not the one we'll probably end up with. Dear god, I'd forgotten what an atrocity "THX1138" is. I can't believe Coppola let Lucas make this pointless bore. Thank god he eventually steered him toward American Graffiti and Star Wars.
