Just because an actor has amazing acting chops does not necessarily make him/her my favorite. On the other hand, I adore Jason Statham but have not yet seen him in an Oscar-worthy performance.
I like Jason Statham very much as well but my favorite who practically plays himself every time is Pierce Brosnan.
