Oh and magic boat thing is dumb given even if it could move at insane speeds those speeds would be apparent, they wouldn't appear to be sailing peacefully at a comfortable pace if the sodding thing was moving at even 50mph, they would feel the effects of that, Diana's hair would be blowing like mad to say the very least, also if it can move so fast why is it not shown that? why would Steve hitch a lift if the boat can move at high speed anyway, given that tugboats of the day didn't do more than 20mph, which means the boat they were in wouldn't be doing more than that, which means even at best speed it would take them traveling in a straight line back to where Steve came from ie the closest known mainland they knew of a whooping 10-13hrs just to get back to where Steve started from, no where near blighty..you utter plank.
The Gods created a "magical" mist or fog around the entire island of Themyscira to hide it for outsiders. The Gods also gave the Amazons a "magic" lasso that compels anyone to tell the truth. Yet you MCU fans are complaining about the Gods possibly giving the Amazons a boat that can travel long distances over a short time?
If the Gods can create a "magical" mist or fog that hides the entire island of Themyscira and a "magic" lasso that compels anyone to tell the truth, why do you MCU fans think it's impossible for the Gods to create a boat that can travel long distances in a short time?
See I added back the part you ignored, it's not that the idea of a special boat is impossible but the fact you try usingt that as an excuse when NOTHING about it, those scenes or anything else in the movie suggests it is the case, seeing how the island being hidden, the lasso's power, why the gods are no more, why Diana can kill gods and so on are explicitly explained in the film, this key piece of information is absent.
Did the gods give them gifts? yes they did but ask yourself this, why did the gods give them super fast magical boats if they were never meant to leave the protection of the island? what exactly is the need for a super speedy sail boat when theres no need to go more than a mile off shore? Also though they gave mortals gifts those gifts do have limitations, Steve could resist the lasso to an extent it wasn't like it turned him into a robot unable to not try and keep things secret, the protection of the island is limited to, it's not impossible to reach it's merely shrouded by fog, not even surrounded by hard to navigate rock formations making accidentally sailing through the fog to the island unlikely.
Also not an "MCU" fan I'm a CBM fan unlike you I'm unbiased towards studios I judge each production by it's own merits, you on the other hand are a sycophantic lapdog without an iota of original thought or common sense, an inability to make any true justifiable argument to back up your fanatical obsession or in fact the nutsack big enough to admit to when you are wrong, you used a real life event that's not even remotely comparable given the scope & location differentials to justify a silly movie plot hole, guess what we know ships can be lost at sea it's been happening for 1000's of years you demented sphincter.
Also your magic boat defence doesn't explain why as I said if the thing could move like a speedboat why they needed to hitch a ride with a tugboat only capable of going around 15-20mph to make good time, explain that then go on I fucking dare you to try.
