Because it is their site and they are the Mods. Who protects me in real life? I do, but in real life you have other options. I find it sad that wanting a peaceful experience online is seen as something wrong here. That is really disturbing. But the thing is just because something disturbs your peace doesnt mean it disturbs anyone elses. Why is it so hard to just not read something you dont want to read or not respond to someone you feel is a troll? You give people online way too much power. If I dont want to read something no one is making me so I dont. If I dont like someone I can simply pretend they arent there without any help. I can decide I just dont care. You are giving all that power to other people. I only have a problem with those that refuse to be ignored and begin following your posts stalking you with their insults. Look, people are emotional beings and they have pride. Nobody is going to sit there quietly while being abused without responding verbally. Now using ignore or block feature when you see that the altercation is escalating.. that is the best action to take in that situation. Yet again, it's only natural to want to defend yourself against attacks. So how does that make a person "sensitive?"
