The Blues Brothers - A chaotic, drug fueled production definitely shows in its excess displayed on screen. Still, lots of energy and fun to watch.
The Shining - Like 2001: A Space Odyssey, it's taken several viewings to truly appreciate it. Less a horror movie then about a father whose hatred of his family is exacerbated by his alcoholism. The final shot is one of cinema's great mind fucks.
Heaven's Gate - The behind-the-scenes drama would make for a pretty good movie, I think.
Flash Gordon - So damn cheesy but entertaining as hell. The music by Queen is also pretty special.
Cannibal Holocaust - No value at all.
Superman II - Oh, what could have been if Richard Donner stuck around. Still, Superman battling the bad guys in Metropolis is pretty exciting.
Raging Bull - Martin Scorsese's masterpiece.
The Empire Strikes Back - The magic of movies can be summed in the scene when Yoda explains to Luke the power of The Force. Reaches a peak no Star Wars movie has achieved since.
Popeye - I have a morbid curiosity to revisit this one.
Maniac - All I remember is the spectacular shotgun blast Tom Savini takes.
