No, I have a strong memory. And I clearly remember that it was definitely MCU fans who started the flame wars after Iron Man was released and MCU fans started trashing The Dark Knight.

Nope, it was definitely the Nolanites who started the flame war, and no message board for any film was safe, superhero or otherwise. There was no such thing as "MCU fans" back then because there was only one movie released, nobody knew what was going to come later on they just had Iron Man.
