Nope, it was definitely the Nolanites who started the flame war, and no message board for any film was safe, superhero or otherwise. There was no such thing as "MCU fans" back then because there was only one movie released, nobody knew what was going to come later on they just had Iron Man.

Nope, it was definitely the MCU fans who started the flame war shortly after Iron Man was released. They may have just have been called Iron Man fans back then (and not MCU fans) but they're the same fandom that make up the MCU fandom today.
