Eh, Batman's only advantage is that he's just had movies made longer and he's easy to write. Plus, to make up for him being somewhat boring, he was given colorful enemies. That way the stories can be more about his villains than him. ...a lot longer and its a huge advantage. I would say he's harder to write since his mythology is so well worn on the big screen. I don't think he's boring so much as rigid. If you break away from his framework you encounter problems almost instantly - like in BvS. Well...there's a reason his villains are so well remembered. It's because they just stand out SO much compared to him.
