Manufacturing competitiveness.

As for JimmyG, the 49ers situation may make his actual work ethic & play look worse than he is. At his age, I think he's more concerned about playing time than proving himself to Stephen A. Smith's of the world.

Leaving the Patriots really only solidifies the Pats' greatness as a system. Charlie Weis, Romeo Crennel, Josh McDaniels, Cassel. Off the top of my head, Richard Seymour is probably the one guy who didn't stumble after he left.
