So you see, while such language is not necessarily strictly prohibited here, it really all depends on where it is being said, to whom it is being said, the context in which it is said, and the intended use of it. If a member's every post is nothing but profanity, it's quite clear that s/he is not here for actual discussion. If someone were to post any profanity whatsoever in the Children and Family Films board (for example) it will be removed without deliberation.
Being a matter of discretion, the use of such language is taken on a case-by-case basis and as such, there are no one-size-fits-all answers to these questions. As I recently told someone else about a similar issue: Know your audience before you step onto the stage.
