RDJ-IronMan may currently beat Batfleck, but as a character Batman
Is more archetype than character. Him being around so long and heavily promoted and marketed is mainly because for over 20 years he had little competition so by the time Marvel showed up he already had enough cash and exposure behind him to keep him going. That and the relative simplicity of his character means it's easier to do shows and movies about him to most other superhero characters.
The other comic characters for both Marvel and DC are finally getting their dues, now that there's the money/improvements in FX tech and the desire to make stories about them. Meaning people can finally enjoy some variety.
