Several of the members I'd been friendly with on IMDb told me they weren't going to go to an alternative board after the closure, and they were resigned to just not posting anywhere anymore. Some took it as an opportunity to get back to their lives, yeah, lol!
It's sad though, because some of those people were assets to any board, good posters.
