Why Haven't They Been Remade?

Goonies. Would rather see the long-rumored sequel than a remake.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Didn't like the original, so don't care.

Back to the future. Can't improve on perfection.

The Breakfast Club. Same as Ferris Bueller (I'm not much of a Hughes fan).

Gremlins. The sequel flopped (unfairly IMHO), so another sequel or remake is highly unlikely.

Flash Dance. The first one was only meh.

Die Hard. The last two sequels were just pale imitations, so why bother?

Mannequin. Seriously?
