BvS in the UE is an interesting and beautiful slow burn graphic novel put in film - but you must be able to process and appreciate slow burns, and most CBM-fans simply are not willing to do that.
The first two acts are great. The juvenile third one with the hero and monster clobbering not so much - but even that one has brilliant moments like the warehouse fight (Top 3 fistfight scene in CBMs ever) or Supes hovering nuked in space or the development of Bruce's arc from fascist loner to team player and finally founding father of the Justice League.
With most CBM I am not able to sit through them a second time, BvS I saw three times to make an decision. Ultimately, it's a flawed and underappreciated CBM and amongst the more interesting CBMs released since Nolan.
6.5/10 (UE)
