That said, I've only posted this information as a reminder that RT scores, solid box office and near-universal acclaim is not the be all and end all. MCU fans, please be humble.

I do not know if watching this influenced me to read the comics or if I watched this because of the comics.
I told my dad about them & he said his great grandfather came from Denmark so they worshipped Thor. He also remembered reading Cap as a child during WWII.
I was daddy's girl. That sealed these 2 as my favorite heroes ever since.
They were noble & honorable. They were protectors.
