The huge supporting startcast was a big reason for golmaa's success. Apart from 4 lead actors and two lead actresses it had sanjay mishra, johnny lever, prakash raj, neil nitin mukesh and even nana patekar to add up. I dont remember a movie in a long time with this huge starcast. ok. but none of them have any box office pull man. while devgan can claim a hit, i think its the GOLMAAL brand name that did it. True but so many actors who have face value are enough to make it a hit and i do agree its the brand. If a shit like welcome back can cross 100 cr then golmaal's 4th installment can make it to 200cr. The 2nd part was too bad but still it made cash for its first part's reputation. |
