We were fighting on multiple fronts back then. The anti-mcu factions here are weak and lazy. There arguments and attempts at dividing the fandom are laughable. They can’t accept the fact that Marvel IP has captured the popular zeitgeist and all other fandoms must kneel.

People would bitch about all the Batman threads on the Avengers boards & the people making them complained ours was the only boards they could discuss them on. Anything other than Nolan was shouted down.
The only reason I started visiting the DC boards there was that complaint.
And they were right. It seemed to be a bunch of high school kids.

I had seen a Thursday night preview (free guest) so I was on the DKR board when word filtered through about a shooting in Colorado.

Every so often someone would start a "lets go troll marvel!" There was that one fool kept posting song lyrics. Pushups & red X.
