Here's my recap and analysis of yesterday's games
Cowboys defeat Chiefs 28-17. Big win for the Cowboys, winning a big game at home they needed it. Cowboys defense looks much improved this season, they have a strong pass rush and harassed Smith all day and forced his first interception of the year. How good the Cowboys do now will depend a lot on Zeke's suspension and the health of their receivers, Bryant and Williams health is questionable. Chiefs are fine, still one of the top 3 AFC teams.
Redskins defeat Seahawks 17-14. Huge win for the Skins, pulling out a win in Seattle and getting back into the NFC playoff picture. Seahawks are in huge trouble, they are completely one dimensional on offense, no rushing or offensive line and Wilson is having to handle everything himself, and their defense has some health issues and doesn't look quite as sharp.
Panthers defeat Falcons 20-17. Falcons once again shoot themselves in the foot with stupid penalties, dropped passes and blown opportunities, they really need to stop playing like they are asleep or their season will slip away despite their talent. Panthers are looking pretty good, their defense has been very good and when Cam plays well they are a very solid team.
Raiders defeat Dolphins 27-24. Must win for the Raiders, they looked better last night, Carr looked sharp and the defense looked better, they will get back in the playoff picture IMO. Dolphins season is done, they have no running game now without Ajayi and their QB is still Cutler, they need to rebuild and prepare for next year.
Eagles defeat Broncos 51-23. Eagles continue to roll, they are looking like the best team in the NFL, very solid all around and the addition of Ajayi gives them another offensive weapon. Broncos are in huge trouble, they have no QB and why they got Osweiler back I don't understand, they need to draft a new QB.
Saints defeat Buccaneers 30-10. Saints are looking like one of the NFC's best teams, Brees and the offense is still terrific like they've always been but now they have a solid defense, they've improved greatly and have been forcing a lot of TO's. The Bucs continue to look terrible, they were very overrated and I'm not sure why people were impressed by them, they don't have a lot of talent.
Titans defeat Ravens 23-20. Titans are now looking like front runners in the AFC South, I like this team, they have talent and Mariota is playing well. Ravens offense is just anemic, I believe Flacco is finished and they just look miserable and lifeless.
Rams defeat Giants 51-17. Rams have finally turned the corner, McVay is doing a great job, Goff is a strong QB and they've been building up talent for a while and now with a good coach they are a playoff team. Giants suck, McAdoo is toast, their defense didn't even seem to be putting in any effort, letting the Rams score on 3rd and 33, and the offense isn't any better.
Jaguars defeat Bengals 23-7. Jaguars are looking pretty good this year and along with the Titans are frontrunners for the AFC South, their defense is very strong. Bengals are lifeless, they need a new coach and new talent.
Cardinals defeat 49ers 20-10. Cardinals are surprisingly at 500 despite not looking sharp and being very banged up, they have a fairly weak schedule. 49ers look almost as bad as the Browns, they have no talent and are just rebuilding.
Colts defeat Texans 20-14. Both of these teams without their starting QB's, if the Texans want to stay alive they need to sign Kaepernick now, Savage sucks big time. Colts need to just get talent in for next year to contend when Luck returns.
Any thoughts?
