Last film that I actually thought was pretty good that had anything to do with Clooney (actor/director/whatever) was The American. I thought it was pretty well done. Good Night and Good Luck could have been amazing, especially with regards to the subject matter, but was completely boring. Regarding Suburbicon, the whole premise has been done ad infinitum. It doesn't need to be rehashed again. Yeah, the whole 1950's model of suburbia was flawed, we get it. It was lacking a first act honestly. Needed an extra 25-30 minutes in the beginning to flesh out the characters more.
