Disagree. I think there was too much emphasis placed on the humor. Usually in a film, there are 1 or 2 comedic relief characters that serve as the tension relievers. In Ragnarok, everyone had some form of comedic input which is totally unnecessary (unless you are making a comedy film which this is in disguise of a superhero film). Korgs lines are funny and so are most of Thors. But nope, Disney has to give Valkiry, Grandmaster, Banner, even Hela some sort of gag. And on top make Thor look like a dithering bufoon when handling Stranges ornaments and screaming like a girl at getting his haircut (real cringey and eye rolling moments). Just removing 50% of the humor and replacing it with some better character and/or action would have taken nothing away from the "fun" aspect of Ragnarok. And I have seen it twice. Have you tried seeing it 5 times in theaters? it gets really good Well it was good the 1st time. All I was saying is the 2nd time when the humor is faded slightly because you've heard it already, you realize the lines still work as great and none of them are forced.
