....I am not a Trump fan. Or a conservative. The whole point of my post was to point out the absurdity of the liberal claim that anyone who dares to disagree with them automatically falls into their pre-concieved notions. First, let's talk about "liberal." Since the American people elected their first black President in 2008, conservatism has become the most extreme and exclusive and harmful to people since the Civil War. That is what "conservatism" is. In today's political parlance, "liberal" has come to only mean "NOT right-wing extremist." That's all. If you consider yourself a reasonable, thoughtful, common-sense, Reality-based political thinker, then you are an extreme libtard by today's definitions. As for "liberals" automatically slotting anyone who disagrees with them into pre-conceived slots: I always tell exactly WHY I disagree (e.g. the negative impact right-wing policies have on ordinary working people) and explain the underlying conservative philosophy that drives those policies (e.g. contempt for the poor and working poor). Your use of that right-wing Talking Point (and talking points and bumper-sticker slogans about "liberals" is about all conservatives have to offer anyone) automatically slots you into the extreme right-wing camp. How's that working out for you?
