I picked it up last weekend. It's visually stunning on Xbox One X in 4K. By far the best looking COD to date.
The game itself is OK imo. Haven't beaten Campaign yet, but have been playing plenty of MP. I like the new class setups, and contract system. Also, War mode is awesome!
However, the major downside is most of the maps are garbage. There's only like 4-5 good maps in the game. Gustav Cannon is one of the worst maps I've ever played. It literally forces you to snipe or die.
I just hope they add some decent maps via DLC because the main game is lacking.
