Not necessarily. Look at Rolf Harris. That was commonwealth law though. But that's my point; there was evidence there (his daughter's friend which he openly admitted to -- claiming it was consensual).
In most of the cases coming out now though, it's primarily people saying something happened years ago. Difficult to prove. I agree. It is also questionable though, that a 15yr old would continue a relationship for over 15yrs with Harris, even into her legal yrs. What was she doing, collecting more evidence? |
