WB have their hands full with DC already. If they had acquired Marvel Studios they would have probably given more freedom and artistic leeway to Marvel so that the final products look less Disneyfied and formulaic.
However, I would find it more interesting what Fox would have done with the MCU. Would they integrate or assimilate the MCU, would we get an Ironman finale like with Logan? I would readily give the entire MCU for a handful of real classics some of them R-rated.
