There is no way you can convince me that Bud and Busch is "just as good or better" than most craft brews. I've tried enough of them to know the difference between a good beer and an average beer. Over the last 5 years I've probably tried over 500 different beers.
My only real complaint about craft beer is the inconsistency. Craft beers don't always taste the way they should which is something I can respect the mega-brewers for. No matter where you buy a Bud it almost always tastes the same.
But for example... this beer here (Fresh Squeezed IPA) is one of the best you can get, here's a short video review of it, there is no way in hell Bud is a better beer than this.... no way... and yes, it REALLY does taste like this.
Although Fresh Squeezed IPA is easy to drink, I don't recommend IPA (India Pale Ale) for new people. They can be quite bitter.
New people are better off with Brown Ale, English Style Old Ale, Stouts, Belgian Dubbels and Quadrupels. Even though Stouts can be hard to drink too, it just depends on how sweet the brewer decides to make it. But yeah, stouts can taste like chocolate or roasted coffee beans or a combination of the two.
Anyhow, as far as taste goes, craft is leaps and bounds ahead of cheap American adjunct lagers like Bud and Busch.
