Anyhow, as far as taste goes, craft is leaps and bounds ahead of cheap American adjunct lagers like Bud and Busch. Like I said there were four of us and all beer drinkers. Out of probably 13 different craft beers not one of us found one we thought was even close to being as good as Busch or Bud. Plus I have had many craft beers in the past and never found any as good as Bud or Busch. On top of that you are paying a lot more money for beers not nearly as good as those two. Fair enough, but most beer rating/reviewing websites disagree. For example, on beeradvocate.com after 6,243 votes, Budweiser is currently rated 2.36 out of 5. Which is not a "bad" score, but it still ranks lower than your average craft beers like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Samuel Adams Boston Lager. Which SN:Pale Ale is currently rated 4.03 out of 5 after 11,364 votes. Boston Lager is rated 3.74 out of 5 after 9,220 votes. On ratebeer.com Budweiser is rated at 0 out of 100... lol! Now that is just ridiculous to give Bud that low of a score. It's not THAT bad. It's just really bland when compared to other craft beers. Either way, the general consensus is that Budweiser is not as good as most craft beers. However, everyone's palate is different, what tastes good to you might not taste all that great to someone else. On a side note: I wouldn't drink craft beers consecutively like that. You need a clean palate to judge a beer. www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/140/276/www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/35/104/www.ratebeer.com/beer/budweiser/473/
