Not terribly pleased with his take on all this. I'm with those who feel the franchise should have stopped in 1986. "Alien"/"Aliens" were survival movies more than they were "creature" movies, in my view. He wants to turn "David" into the new creature, or something. Not pleased. I never thought "Ash" was the center of "Alien" so I don't think a big buildup with robots doing bad things is justified as a lead-up to Ash going nuts in the first movie. I dunno. Especially considering David and Ash aren't even the same models by a long shot. And it completely undermines Bishop.
