a great reuben sandwich is tough to find on the west coast

I don't think that's a universal truth (about the food; not about you moving to PA, that part is true in all likelihood).  Sure, the east coast has better pizza, bagels and overall deli fare in general, but the west coast blows us out of the water when it comes to sushi and mexican food.  Save for a top spot in Manhattan (I'm becoming a huge fan of omakase places), your average sushi spot on the west coast is going to be hands down better than anything we have to offer on our side of the country.
