its dissapointing but i think the Admin is running a dictatorship. banning people who dont deserve it while letting the trolls run rampant. you have a warped sense of the word Troll. ha freaking ha! hell no, they were not careful! we had people with multiple sock accounts who would use them to harass people on multiple computers/tablets/phones all at once! we had people discover and display personal information [not talking birthdays or favorite desserts here] over everywhere! didn't even matter if you visited 'that' idmb page or not, they still posted your personal information on there! they were slick! erm... you know when you block someone you have to click 'save changes' right? same with their do you not know what that red squiggly line means? okay, now you have gone full retard. the ignore feature did jack shit on that board. all it did was made you ignorant to whomever you were ignoring. the feature didn't block these people from replying to you or whatever, it also allowed them to continue to harass you even though you didn't see it. just because you didn't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there. I really hated this about imdb. the ignore feature had a seedling of a good idea but it was done ass backwards. I have been saying that for the nearly 10 years I was on there. we should be able to see your other posts/threads but you should not be able to respond to or see mine. Only a few weeks gone and people already looking back through rose tinted glasses lol |
