I know DC fans loathe when these films get compared to Marvel movies, but Warner Bros. should have taken a note from the MCU, allowing a string of solo films
Nothing went wrong. It's not as great as Wonder Woman but it's still a great movie and better than many of the CBms this year (including GotG2, Homecoming, and Raganarok). It's a 9 out of 10.
And no, they didn't need a string of solo movies. There's more than 1 way to create a shared universe. And the DCEU has done it successfully. MCU fans keep trying to ignore the fact that the DCEU's 1st 4 movies had a better combined box office than MCU's 1st 4 movies. That means DCEU is ahead of MCU's pace and will eventually surpass MCU.
