In PLAY DIRTY 1969, it starts with Nigel Davenport driving through the desert with the German language song Lili Marlene playing on the radio. The version is not the famous Andersen version--I confirm this by the fact that there is no chorus and the singer in the movie is singing louder (probably to drown out the jeep noise). Not Dietrich either.
