First Avenger was one of the only recent WWII era movies I've seen that bothered pointing out not every German in WWII was a baby-eating Lunatic and that America didn't win the war on its own. I'll take stuff like that over Synder's Jesus symbolism. Oh dear Lord, please don't bring up First Avenger/ That movie was terrible. I liked it, it's basically "What if the Nazis from Indiana Jones actually found powerful artifacts and weaponized them". If it's good enough for Indiana Jones it's enough for MCU. |
