...Manny's in Chicago is the cats meow...!!! Great place. The deli in my Hyde Park neighborhood was Morry's. Only so-so. I later learned it was managed by Suze Orman's father. Morry's sold seltzer bottles like the ones the Three Stooges sprayed each other with. And of course in Chicago, any soft drink is referred to as "pop". cool! mario batali's dad runs a deli in seattle, salumi. great for italian cold cuts, sammys. |
