McLeish, apart from his successful previous spell at Ibrokes, has a CV full of failure

as Birmingham manager

Why they haven't grabbed Aberdeen's McInnes, a former player, is a headscratcher. It can't/shouldn't be about money. He's turned Aberdeen into Scotland's second team, give or take a few blips, but the decisions of the Zombies' board is weird and not very wonderful.
