41 out of 46 in what time period? 2008 through 2016. The Golden Globes nominated 46 movies for the "Best Motion Picture – Drama" category in those 9 years and 41 of those 46 movies were also nominated for a Best Picture Oscar. I doubt the AA's are influenced by the Golden Globes considering the GG's aren't taken seriously The Golden Globes are considered the 2nd most prestigious awards after the Oscars so the Golden Globes are taken very seriously. And the Golden Globes have often been an accurate projection of the Oscars. Like I said, 41 of the last 46 movies nominated for a Golden Globe for "Best Motion Picture – Drama" have also been nominated for a Best Picture Oscar. WW maybe a dark horse for a nomination but you keep running around calling it a strong contender And when Donald Trump came down that escalator in Trump Tower and announced he was running for POTUS, he was a longshot and a dark horse to win the Presidency. Wonder Woman is on the Academy's short list for consideration for a Best Picture nomination. GotG2 and Ragnarok (which MCU is actively campaigning for this year) didn't make the list. No other CBM except The Dark Knight has ever even been considered by the Academy for a Best Picture Oscar nomination so Wonder Woman has already made it farther than every CBM not titled "The Dark Knight".
