Only if you are ashamed of comic books. It has always been silly, and has nothing to do with modern technology. It's the ridiculous fun of having a dual identiy character: god and clown, playboy and vigilante.
Everything about CBMs is "outdated" if we really want to go down the list. Costumes? Super powers because of some kind of lab experiment gone wrong? Gods? Threat from the sky? Villain wants to take over the world?
CBMs are fun and fun is one of the best things about living.
